Just over a decade ago I went to my first vegan event in proximity to where I live. This was in Charlotte, North Carolina and the first time I got to meet Julia in passing at least. Her business Nourish was working the VegFest Junior event I was interviewing people for this channel. This was one of the first vegan events I interviewed people at. I loved the name Nourish and idea of the Julia's business model and confidence, creativity, and energy so captivating. But I didn't get to interview her. I knew I would have to one day though. A lot of years and interviews later and finally I get Julia Simon in front of my lens! This is so special! Her work is brilliant and in a place I would imagine most have insisted would be the least likely to succeed at. She remains committed and continues to grow through the times nonetheless enabling and inspiring thousands in the Charlotte metro area and beyond to enjoy and consider this most awesome lifestyle. Thank you Julia for all your amazing, hard, precious, invaluable work!
