The latest album by the Illinois band Cheap Trick, produced by Julian Raymond ( Glenn Campbell, The Wallflowrs, Brian Setzer, among others) is titled All Washed Up and delivers a well-crafted product in line with the stylistic features of the very famous band. These are certainly no longer the days of Live At Budokan, but after twenty-one studio albums and thirty million records sold, we couldn't have expected anything better. Rick Nielsen, Tom Petersson and Robin Zander, offer the same grit and energy of the golden years, accentuating in some songs the tones and timbres of hard rock and providing some emblematic riffs.
