Today I'll be taking a look at yet another cheap Mini PC, that does come with some potential, but unfortunately also has 3 notable weaknesses.
This is the GEEKOM Mini Air12 Lite, equipped with the widely used Intel N100 Quad-Core processor and integrated Intel graphics, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD.
The last sentence already revealing one or two weaknesses, but unfortunately it doesn't stop there. However, I don't want to drag this device down so soon into the video, because as I said, the Mini Air12 Lite also does offer quite a bit of potential, if you're willing to do something in order to unlock it.
Furthermore we should keep in mind, that we're basically looking at a fully functional PC in a small form factor, that even comes with an official copy of Windows 11 Pro pre-installed at a fairly low price point.
So should you seriously consider the Mini Air12 Lite despite its weaknesses? If so, which target group should actually buy it, and who should avoid this device?
