I made this up as a little project, using a cheap 2 axis gimbal, and an extending decorators pole, idea is this can be used for handheld shots or mounting on pole for up to 5M extension, it works pretty well and is a very cheap and easy thing to make.
The 2 axis gimbal is the std chinese one, which comes plug and play, I just screwed this to a brush holder with screw mounting to a decorators pole.
I use a 1300mah 3S (~12v) lipo battery with JST connector as I had an old tired quad pack lying around, spec on gimbal says 2-4S but I've heard people complaining it didn't hold well on 2S, so I have only ever run 3S you could also run this on 12v (ie a car battery/cigarette socket) it just needs a couple of amps.
I also fitted a power switch and a servo tester to adjust tilt but these aren't needed, and you could use this without either.

Gimbal I use is this one from China (not UK warehouse which is more expensive).
