For those of you that are new around here, I've been SUPER sick for about 2 weeks now. Bedridden and/or camped out in my bathroom kind of sick, so I've only posted once a week during this time. This was filmed Sunday, January 28th. That day I had a bit of a break in my symptoms, so I worked my regular afternoon schedule. Unfortunately, my symptoms worsened and resurfaced late Sunday, and continued to keep me from normal activities until Thursday (when I edited this footage). While I don't know the full extent of what's going on, I DO have a clearer picture than earlier this week. Today (Friday as I'm writing this) I will be introducing my body to something besides white rice for the first time in 5 days. We'll see if my body can handle it, or if I'm in splitting pain since I still have zero gut bacteria. #doctorsgetpaidtoprescribe #overuseofantibiotics
Before some Einstein in the comments thinks I'm dumb enough to never have heard of probiotics, they actually made my symptoms worse. So thanks, but no. Also, I'm not telling you guys everything about my illness because: (a) you don't WANT to know any more than I'm telling, and (b) I'm not seeking your help. I DO feel a responsibility to those joining me on this journey to explain myself when I have an unexpected absence. I am not someone who breaks my schedule because I don't feel 100%, but I wanted to reassure you all that I'm also not dying! Anyway, if you're still reading this, I appreciate you more than you know!! Thank you for your continued support and I'm so glad to be back in such great company!
