Splitting his time between film scores ("DOSED") and numerous successful lofi/chillhop releases ("Insecurities Melt”) producer Jayme McDonald aka MD finally takes on the challenge of a full debut retrowave album as Chatterless. On the strength of two singles ("Stay With Me" and "Long Shadows On The Sand") "Nobody From Nowhere With Nothing" has arrived. When asked the origins and reasons of this genre switch MD says:
"I first tried my hand at this genre with my 2-song EP 'Secret Gods In Dead Cities' and received such strong feedback on my song 'Summer Dresses' that I knew it was only a matter of time before I fell deep into the hypnotic pull of synth. I have so much respect for the genre I can only hope I do it justice. Thanks so much for listening!"
