This was an absolute pain to do. ChatGPT in general doesn't sing (and would refuse to sing at the time). When doing this small project, ChatGPT would sing but was so out of key and the tempo was never right that I just decided to attempt to pitch correct and try to get it in the right tempo myself under the instrumentals that I made.
When making the instrumentals, I thought it would be funny to ask ChatGPT would genre or how it would like the style to be, chords, octave, what instruments it wanted, etc; this is what it came up with/wanted, so I got to work and created the instrumentals based off what ChatGPT-5 "wanted."
This idea sparked when years ago, I was learned about the first computer "singing." in 1961, the IBM 7094 became the first computer to sing "Daisy Bell" (composed by Harry Dacre in 1892). The vocals were programmed by John kelly and Coral Lockbaum and the accompaniment was programmed by Max Mathews.
Since you can talk to ChatGPT using it's "Advance Voice Model" -- I thought it would be interesting to use that Voice Model sing the song "Daisy Bell." Who knew it wouldn't be easy.
