I’ve been a bit lax on getting this one out. Siem Reap, Cambodia was possibly my favorite place I’ve ever been to on Earth and for some reason that made me feel very precious about how I made videos about it. Like I was scared to not do it justice. The people, the vibe, the culture, its really hard to capture that in a video with my dumb face over most of it. But I hope I did it some good here.
I took a day trip to Phnom Kulen, which I would say was as fun, if not more fun, than the Angkor Wat and surrounding temples of Siem Reap.
The trouble with Phnom Kulen is that it is about 1.5 hours outside of town by car, and there is a one way road to the top of the falls. Everyday, it is only uphill traffic from 8 AM until Noon, and then from Noon to close it is only downhill traffic. Crazy, right? It’ll set you back $20 a person, and about $60 for the car ride for the day. But as I hope I show here, it is so worth it.
