As a Utah officer attempts to pull over a driver for a traffic violation in the early morning hours the driver decides to take off. After a dangerous high speed chase officers successfully used spike strips to slow the suspect down. Police use a PIT maneuver to ram the suspect off the road and he quickly takes off on foot though he is apprehended a few hundred yards from the scene. Police discover the driver had a warrant for his arrest along with drugs in his car. (2009)
