Discovered in the rather excellent NQ64 arcade bar in the centre of Bristol. Well worth a visit if only for the #OutRun2, #SegaRally and #ChaseHQ2 cabinets alone!

I'm on camera duty here, whilst my mate Neil plays the game... badly. In fairness to him though, he'd had a few beers by this point in the evening and had never played this before. He also mentioned he was quite surprised at just how powerful the force feedback on the wheel turned out to be.

You can't hear any game audio over the extremely loud music playing in the bar, so I've muted the original video audio and replaced it with something more suitable - a mash up of the tunes and voice samples from Chase HQ 1 and 2.

I mentioned in my full NQ64 arcade visit video youtu.be/VFbYHZtAX8E that I'd never seen a Chase HQ 2 cabinet in the wild before, but I remembered after uploading it that's not strictly true... when I was on holiday in New York about 10 years back, I was walking through a shopping mall and saw a Chase HQ 2 in a Chuck E Cheese there. You had to pay to get in though and I was meeting up with someone with no time to spare, so I was able to just briefly glance at it from a distance and that was it. Which was a real shame, because, Chase HQ 2 was at the top of my 'most wanted' unemulated/undumped arcade game list for suuuuch a long time -based purely on my love of the original game, with the fact I'd never managed to play it in an arcade just fueling my desire to play it at home even more. Sure it's little short, but this game totally pushes all my arcade racer buttons; it's fast and handles exactly like an arcade racer should. I think the the graphics actually still look pretty good for a well over 10+ year old title. Having said that, you can actually play the cracked arcade version on an absolute potato PC - you can see it here running without issue on the absolutely ancient PC inside my Barcade cabinet, that at the time I recorded this video, didn't even have a GPU inside it: youtu.be/GS2_X_p4pLs
