Day 2: CHECK ✅
A day filled with love, support and memories of my mum.
I spent the morning trekking through the East End of London, my family’s neck of the woods. We passed so many places that shaped mum’s life. From the spots where she and dad first hit it off, to former homes and the pivotal places in her career. That’s why it meant so much to do it with a whole gang of family friends and mum’s past colleagues.
I’d like to say a special thank you to the Head of Chemistry, Prof. Matt Cheeseman, who spoke to me about the vital research happening for Alzheimer’s Research UK. This is what it’s all about.
