Charlie Stockwell, from Stockwell Design, has been building custom Harleys from across the pond for many years at the Warr's Harley-Davidson dealership. Charlie was the Chief of Design at Warr's and essentially the dealership's in-house custom bike builder. After recently going out on his own to focus his attention on building rad custom bikes, Harley-Davidson tapped Charlie Stockwell as one of six custom bike builders to give the old Stockwell spin on the new Nightster.
Having built and raced several Sportsters over the years, Charlie took the challenge to create something unique with open arms. Sticking to his racing roots, Charlie did a cool littler tracker with the new Harley-Davidson Nightster platform that definitely turned some heads at the 2022 Born-Free Motorcycle Show where it first debuted.
We caught up with Charlie at Born-Free 13 this year and had to pick his brain on the overall build, his thoughts on the new Nightster, and much more. Enjoy!
