Charlie J. Cool game demo from Rasputin and was released in 1994 (the demo version that is).
A quite short demo of a pretty funny platformer, i liked it.

Flimbos Quest was released by System 3 in 1990 and was programmed by Eldritch the Cat.

It is a very good game.. or at least the first 3 levels then it becomes too difficult because it is based on the Amiga version and does not have the same hight of screen resolution wich the game was obviously designed for... in the ST version it scrolls up and down and this stops the fluidity of the gameplay as you cant see the holes at the ground so you never dare to jump down from platforms and thus cant really plan your movement strategy properly (escape route).
They should have re-designed the levels a bit for the lower resolution of the ST like some other games did whith great result (for example Venus the Flytrap).
It is also faster than the Amiga version but that is not so good since the scrolling is very jerky and it makes it very difficult to see the enemies... together with the reduced colours (and no graphician was involved with the ST version to properly rework it to 16 colours) it becomes even more difficult. So if you think the Amiga version was too easy and want some more hardcore gameplay then try the ST version ;-)
The positive things about the ST version is that the controls are very slick and it has good music, you also start with more time than on the Amiga version.
I could only get to level 5... i give up now... it is too difficult :-/

I, Ball was released by Firebird/Silverbird in 1987 and was made by Paragon. It was released for several other systems also (all 8-bit) but the Atari ST version has the best music :-)
Timothy Closs is the designer.
I did two tries in this video one with music and one with SFX.
01:16 - for the first try were i get to level 4 (with music)
07:36 - for the second try were i get to level 10 (SFX only)
The game has 16 level in total.
It definitely has the one more try feeling to it, and when you finally get the weapon to fire in all 4 directions then it is much easier to play... i never managed to get the Rainbow Ripple Laser though.

Gnurk was made by Crystalic and Anatomica and released in 1993 for the Atari ST.
This Crystalic demo did not have any ripped Jochen Hippel music but is still oldschool even for 1993 :-)
My capture card had problem with the reset screen and took a couple of seconds to lock on to the video signal again.

Technological Death was made by Mad Elks and released in 1993 for Amiga.
I am not having high knowledge in Amiga demos but this one seems good :-)
There is a picture at the end of the demo that is displayed in interlaced video signal (i think) and my capture card do not display this properly. Also when the end scroller is complete so did i reset the Amiga and start the demo again to show the hidden screen.

Some more random gameplay (almost 3 hours) i mostly explore Tundra Express as it is a new area for me and i meet new enemies... like Varkids wich kill me several times in the beginning of the video and later at the end of the video so do i meet Mutated Badass Varkids wich kill me even more times, i still havent learned what weapons to use against wich enemies correctly yet but i am getting better :)
