Plot: An unknown enemy causes the appearance of multiple "time holes", forcing Sonic and his friends back in time. As a result, Sonic must band together with his past self to defeat this enemy and fix the timestream. Meanwhile, Shadow the Hedgehog’s nemesis, Black Doom, has reemerged and threatens to take over the world once again. Shadow must journey into his past, confront his painful memories, and unlock new dark powers to save the world and end the conflict once and for all.
