Let's talk about a Thriller for once (talked so much about Fantasy lately :P ). Malice by Keigo Higashino, a character-driven Japanese thriller, was a recommendation that I got from Tori over at @ToriTalks2 and what can I say? It was fantastic!
Loved the Japanese culture that really came through (no surprise, since it's a translated book) and the twist at the end was sooo good! It's maybe more a Mystery than a Thriller (not many super dark elements - at least for my dark soul) but the characters were interesting and it was very fun to see the story unfold.
Have you read a Japanese Mystery or Thriller before? If yes, which ones. I need more recommendations now!
