Often when starting with computer animation, its easy for new artists to get lost in smaller technical details and overlook these creative solutions industry have shaped for us. But , I understand CGI is not an easy thing to start with and there is lot to focus on.
But its important to look at the bigger picture sometimes, because at the end what’s seen in the frame matters the most.
Sooner or later you will realize, doesn’t matter how detailed your cgi models are, if lighting is not done right you will fail to capture perfect picture.
In this chapter other than lighting our final scene from this series, we are also going to talk some theory about lighting and why it is important to start putting some thoughts into lighting if you are new to cgi.
