In this part, we start Chapter 2 by returning to the present day. We begin in the town of Kalm where Cloud and the party have finally escaped Midgar. While here, we learn how to play Queen's Blood and complete all three Queen's Blood Challenges, then speak to our party members to raise our relationship status with them. Lastly, we escape from Kalm and arrive in our first region, the Grasslands.

- The Queen's Blood Starter Deck gives us the following cards: Security Officer, J-Unit Sweeper, Queen Bee, Levrikon, Grasslands Wolf, Mu, Elphadunk, & Magic Pot. You'll need to defeat every opponent you come across in order to rank up and play against higher rank opponents!

- The Suppressive Strikers QB Pack gives the following cards: Riot Trooper, Toxirat, Devil Rider, Flan.

- The Ruffians QB Pack gives the following cards: Grenadier, Mandragora, Quetzalcoatl, Zu.

- Queen's Blood is an optional Card-Based Mini-Game that did not exist in the original FF7. The goal is to place cards on the field and have their value be worth more than the opponents on each row. If we win a row, the number that won will be added to our pile and if our overall pile is larger than the opponents, we win entirely. This means we can win just two of the three rows and still win overall if the two rows are worth more than the single row lost. We can get new QB Cards by defeating opponents in QB matches, by buying QB Packs at item shops, and by buying them from Thorin's Card Shop later in the game when we defeat each Summon. I will be collecting every card, so follow along if you'd like them.

- Queen's Blood matches are split into three categories: Standard Matches, Puzzles, and Advanced Matches. For Puzzles, you can simply place your cards the way I place mine to win instantly, these usually take place at Card Carnival later in the game. For Standard Matches, which are the casual ones we get into in this video, we can play using the following strategy. Start by mulliganing any Rank 2 or Rank 3 cards (top left corner shows how many marks are on the card a.k.a. their rank). Next, skip your first turn and let the opponent go first. At this point, try to mirror the opponent by placing a card that can advance forward on the same row they just placed a card on. So for example, they place on top, you place on top, they place on bottom, you place on bottom. This way we can reach the middle of the row first. This tends to win the matches more often than not. Finally, as for Advanced Matches, this will require specific Deck Setups for special opponents, but we'll get into that late game.

- During this game, we will be raising our relationship status with most of our party members until we reach Chapter 12 for a big event. The party member that has the highest status with Cloud will accompany him on said event. Our Status with the party members can change with three methods: 1. Using a Synergy Skill or Ability between Cloud and said party member for the first time. 2. Completing a Side Quest that said party member is involved in. 3. Saying the correct line while talking to said party member in a town. In this video's case, we talk to each party member and say the correct line to gain affection with them. One line is worth three points, another is worth two, and the last is only worth one. The lines and their results are as follows:

Tifa: "This tank remind you of anything?"
