At a recent Duke women's basketball game, Duke Chapel carillonneur Mitchell Eithun was the honorary bell ringer as part of a new pre-game promotion that connects the excitement of athletics with the tradition of the Chapel bells. In this video, Mitchell describes his role as one of two Chapel carillonneurs who regularly play the fifty bells of the Chapel's carillon weekdays at 5:00 p.m. and also before and after Sunday morning services.
