►Since the commands needed to measure the time, Minecraft needs to process a tick (/worldborder), are quite old already, its possible to reproduce this mechanic in older versions.
Its a lot easier to use it with the new commands/functions in Minecraft 1.13, though.

Todays Custom Mob is the Hardhat Beetle from A Link to the Past.
Since I will be busy with university in the next few days I decided to end the video before the mechanics were completely finished. Otherwise you would have had to wait another week. So Instead I will show you the final result in an additional video about the Hardhat Beetle. In the style of previous Custom Mob episodes.
