I recently bought a Sanyo Betacord VTC-9300 which came with a box of tapes. Most are from the 1990's but this one is of the 1981 Royal Variety Concert in Adelaide, South Australia, which was hosted by Barry Crocker and attended by Prince Charles.

The concert is extremely tacky. The only thing I can compare it to is Eurovision. It's a completely foreign concept to me that this was once considered good taste.
