On September 18, 2025, Hachette Book Group proudly hosted the inaugural Changing the Story Festival: Connecting Global Readers.
This all-staff event, held in person and virtually, celebrated HBG’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and brought our Changing the Story pillar to life. The day featured:
• Opening remarks from Carrie Bloxson and Sara Munjack
• A keynote address by Robert Raben, President and Founder of The Raben Group
• Panels with Indigenous, disability, and Latinx voices in publishing
• A Read Our World presentation highlighting underrepresented authors
• A fireside chat on freedom of expression with the ACLU
Thank you to our speakers, authors, employees, and partners who helped make the festival an inspiring and impactful day of connection.
