An incredibly powerful tool in the FX6 is the ability to use a LUT as the base look when the camera is in custom mode. By using LUTs designed for S-Log3 and SGamut3.cine as the custom mode base look you can record an almost unlimited range of different looks. You can change the gain or ISO as normal and what's more you still have the flexibility to change settings such as black level, detail setting and matrix and multi matrix while using the LUT. Find out how it's done and what can be achieved in this video.

The LUT's used in the video can be downloaded from here for free: xdcam-user.com/2014/11/new-film-look-luts-for-the-pxw-fs7-pmw-f5-and-pmw-f55
