Americans pay more for prescription drugs than people in most other Western countries. And unfortunately, high drug costs mean low accessibility for many of those in need of life-saving medications. Peter Bach envisions a different approach to pharmaceutical pricing. As Director of Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital’s Center for Health Policy and Outcomes and the founder of the Drug Pricing Lab, Peter and his team strive to identify more rational approaches to drug pricing and to bring transparency to the process.
