The Playtest in California is currently ongoing for MapleStory Classic World! I’ve been lurking in the discord where Maplers who went to the test are sharing their findings! And wow all the changes are looking pretty crazy!
So the first huge change is to party exp! Maplers who party up seem to be getting a huge buff. Having just 2 players will give you a 25% bonus exp buff, 3 players seems to give a 55% bonus exp buff and 4 players a 99% exp buff. 5 and 6 players in a party weren’t tested yet. That is huge though! Kinda reminiscent of Lion Heart Castle after big bang when party grinding was all the meta. I dig it though as the maps in old school maplestory are huge, and you will most likely be sharing it with other players anyway. So might as well party up and get some bonus exp! Really hones in on the social aspect!
