I turned 30 today
Here is one of the best songs I've ever written, from my "one man" show "Give a Little Bit More", filmed live on 3/29/26

Today is my 30th birthday! This means I get to do my annual sentimental social media post! Here's footage from my one man show I did a few months ago, of one of my favorite songs I've ever written "Change With You". This song was written for, and will always be dedicated to, Dio Ramirez ❤

I think in the past I might've not shared this online - I'm looking down a lot, there's parts of the performance I find too shakey or too vulnerable for the brand of songwriting I usually put out into the world. But this whole song being in one take, at the end of an hour long show that was all about a terrible relationship with art/performance, probably makes it the most honest song I've written and played. That other stuff I "don't like" doesn't really matter.

My relationship with art is not nearly as awful as I portrayed it in this show I'M SORRY I LIED, but I think it's never too late to change and grow alongside your career/life/loved ones, no matter how deep in the pit you are - as long as you do it for the right reasons. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug, and trying to stay in the past for any reason is no way to live a life.

That's why I wrote this song for Dio - a relationship of any kind is never solved, it's never completed. You keep working and growing and learning and changing with that person for as much time as you have. I can't wait to keep changing with you. They do not use this hellish website anymore so I'll just tell them this in person or whatever lmao

Also, my life isn't just music and theater. I'm really good at Street Fighter and Crane Games, so I've got other stuff going on probably but it's harder to be sentimental about anti-airs and plushies.
