In Austin-Travis County, the number of young adults seeking housing assistance nearly tripled in three years, from 376 in 2022 to 1,018 in 2024. That doesn't count young people sleeping on couches or moving between family and friends.

One nonprofit is working to give those teens and young adults the support they need while transitioning to adulthood.
