How do we meet the economic, social and environmental challenges we're facing as a society? We had an inspiring sit down with the University of Sheffield's new Chancellor, Andy Haldane, to talk about the public mission of universities, the importance of nurturing creative and independent thinking and what he's most excited about in his new role.

Andy Haldane is a highly-respected British economist, who worked at the Bank of England between 1989 and 2021 and the university's ninth Chancellor.
