Composed merely a decade before The Rite of Spring, this chamber music gem steers away from the ballet’s sound world and serves as a harbinger of the neoclassical style that would dominate Stravinsky’s subsequent thirty years. 

The project is part of the MPO Online Programme as the orchestra seeks to diversify its music-making.
