Challenge Mode was added to the Suggestion Box. You could select a challenge where you had to defeat a set number of infinitely spawning enemies and aim for a quick time, which you could share with other New Little King's Story players for bragging rights. Whatever Royal Guard you have on your person, waiting for you outside, is the team you take in. This is the first challenge, where you must defeat 50 of the different types of Onii; Further challenges would be added via the internet. However, all online services ended in 2017.
