Two major celebrity estate and legal battles hit at once. π Nearly six years after Chadwick Boseman's death, his brothers Kevin and Derrick have filed to permanently REMOVE his widow, Taylor Simone Ledward Boseman, as administrator of his estate. Chadwick died in 2020 without a will, and a 2022 court order split his estate 50/50 between his parents and Taylor. Now his brothers allege she's mismanaged it β claiming she never finished distributing assets, hasn't transferred a long-term care policy to their mother, and hasn't accounted for over $3 million in bank funds and his SAG-AFTRA residuals. THEN β Wendy Williams. Her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, has officially SETTLED the lawsuit against A&E and Lifetime over the controversial "Where Is Wendy Williams?" documentary. The suit accused the network of exploiting Wendy while she was vulnerable and incapacitated; A&E denied it. The case was dismissed with prejudice β but here's the twist: Wendy herself had said she wanted the lawsuit to END, and this settles the doc case without resolving the bigger fight over her guardianship.
