Cleveland Gaming Classic Toy & Gaming Expo CGC 2022! + Pickups!

We took the short trip to the I-X Center (aka the International Exposition Center) Cleveland, Ohio, for the 2022 CGC, Cleveland Gaming Classic.

It was a fun day looking for retro games and seeing a lot of excellent cosplayers at this gaming & toy expo. Including the Boba Fett & the 501st Legion.

$PS2 Games From HELL — I Found Them in the AVGNs Basement I found a note in a basement. It said help yourself to the fridge, dont touch the Rolling Rocks, and there are some terrible PS2 games next to the console if I want to make a video. The note was signed the nerd. It was not addressed to me specifically. But I was there. The games were there. And a sandwich wasnt going to make itself. What followed was five PS2 racing games so catastrophically bad that they began to affect my personality, my language, and my general disposition toward humanity. The smell didnt help either. Motocross Mania 3. Ford vs. Chevy. DT Racer — which I renamed DP Racer for reasons that will become clear. Super Trucks Racing. And Driven, starring Sylvester Stallone, which is exactly as good as that sounds. Somewhere around game four I performed an exorcism using Atari Pac-Man cartridges. Then an 80s icon showed up to drive me home. Long-time Game Closet viewers will know exactly who. New viewers are in for a surprise. This is part of an ongoing serialized story in the Game Closet universe. You dont need to have seen the previous chapters to enjoy this one — but if you have, there are callbacks that will make you very happy.
