The global scientific union dedicated to #physics known as the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics #IUPAP recently held the 8th edition of the Women in Physics conference hosted by India. #CERN and IUPAP collaboration which led to the formation of the IUPAP #WomeninPhysics working group has come a long way.
IUPAP celebrated its 100th anniversary last year and was the driving force behind the proclamation of the International Year of Basic Science for Sustainable Development #IYBSSD by the @unitednations in which CERN participates among many other international organisations.
