For the past five years, the Centre for Technomoral Futures (part of the University of Edinburgh’s Futures Institute) has brought together philosophers, technologists, policymakers, and researchers to tackle one of the defining questions of our time: How can we build technologies that truly serve human flourishing? Our new video captures the heart of that mission, and the voices of those shaping it. From PhD researchers forging new fields like AI policy, to cross-disciplinary collaborations that bridge machine learning, bioethics, law, education and more, this is what the future of unifying technical and moral knowledge looks like.
