There is a new CC2014.2 update for After Effects, and with it is a new expression that can do some cool stuff. One of them is solving a problem i've always had with text layers and their anchor point position. Try it out and see, but be sure you are on the latest update if you are on Creative Cloud. if you are not, sorry :(
