Definitely watch in 720p!!! It is so much better!
I know I am supposed to be working on the preview videos that I posted earlier but I keep on getting sidetracked by awesome Doctor Who episodes that demand to be vidded.
Actually I didnt really like Amys Choice after the first viewing, I kind of thought the characterization was all over the place and some of the dialogue sounded a bit odd. But I watched the episode a couple times more and found myself liking it more and more, especially just because of the insight we got into the Doctor and the interesting power roles between him and Amy. He obviously cares about her a lot, but I cant help but feel he knows that he needs to draw certain lines between the two of them. However, subconsciously he wants to keep her for himself, despite knowing he honestly cant. So he ends up simultaneously promoting and sabotaging Rory and Amys relationship. I thought that the most interesting thing about Amys Choice was that even the Doctors dark subconscious knew that the decision maker in the Doctor and Amys relationship was Amy. He might try to manipulate her into doing what he wanted but he would never actually make the decision himself.
I wanted to love this video, and there are parts that I do love but overall I am kind of meh about this vid. I am also annoyed that I used such an overplayed song (there are seriously two other Doctor Who videos alone to this one) but I really thought it worked perfectly for the theme of this video so, whatever. Anyway, please enjoy and I will hopefully get my previewed videos out soon!
