Last year around Halloween I began to see videos of Tesla Autopilot software showing pedestrians walking around cemeteries where no actual, in-the-flesh people could be seen. My friend Paul and I decided to see for ourselves this Halloween season whether my new Plaid with full-self-driving beta software would turn up anything. After not having much luck in the first few cemeteries we visited, we hit the jackpot when we visited the Elmwood Cemetery in Schaghticoke, NY, with the dashboard screen clearly showing an assortment of figures standing and walking about although we were the only people (at least still-alive people) in the cemetery at the time. Paul and I discussed our own theories of what this could mean. In the comments below, please let us know your thoughts.
Oh, and in the historic Green Hill Cemetery in Amsterdam, NY, I found an altogether different kind of ghostly presence. Stick around till the end to meet "deceased" photographer Fred Morris who was kind enough to introduce himself and answer a few questions.
