Wow, what a song, marvelously performed by Susan McFadden of the group Celtic Woman. It's not a new song, it's originally a song by Secret Garden from 2007. But it sounds brand new to me.
As a Christian, I take a little bit of exception to the song title "Sometimes a Prayer Will Do." The "sometimes" part sort of bothers me. And the "will do" part bothers me a little bit, too. "Will do", as if perhaps there might be something better? Oh, well, maybe I am nitpicking, I understand what they were trying to say.
Susan McFadden joined Celtic Woman in 2013, replacing one of my favorite members of the group, Lisa Kelly.
The song was written by Brendan Graham and Rolf U. Lovland.
