I gaze far back down this line my soul has journeyed. Back, to ancient times, to those we come from, the ancient ones, the grandmothers and grandfathers of us all. Though there are many names, from many places, She is who She is in all of time and place. I look inwards and whisper the word grandmother to her and the line of mothers and grandmothers leading back to her. To them I offer this humble piece of music to honor them in my heart and in my soul.

Mystical energy, mystical frequencies, flowing through time, these will help you find balance with that ancient part of you, your soul.

Close your eyes. Do you see a woman there? That is her, the Great Mother of us all.

The Throat Chakra is the living gateway of expression, the sacred bridge between inner truth and outer sound, silence and speech, listening and being heard. It is the place where honesty, creativity, resonance, and communication gather into balance. When this center is open, its energy does not force or hide; it flows, helping the voice become clear, the mind become still, and the spirit speak from its natural truth. In its awakened state, the Throat Chakra becomes a blue field of living resonance, where breath, sound, and truth meet in the same vibration. Your Throat Chakra is the voice of your energy being. And because the universe is vibration, expression is not something separate from creation; it is part of creation itself. In that sacred understanding, your voice becomes a channel through which the universe moves, listens, and speaks. Balance here brings a centered clarity that feels open, spacious, and alive, like a clean wind moving across the high desert beneath a wide blue sky. Truth becomes less of a burden and more of a frequency. Communication finds its rhythm. The breath opens the passageway. The voice stops carrying doubt and begins to carry presence through the quiet intelligence of sound. Most of all, a harmonized Throat Chakra restores the natural rhythm of truth and expression. When the Throat Chakra is open and balanced, the entire system becomes more honest, clear, creative, expressive, resonant, and ready to speak truth without losing its center. …A bit of backstory on this project: “Taos Winds Chakra 2026”… In the 1980s, my first Chakra album came into being. It was a gift for a friend who was doing healing work with stones and sound. He thought the music I was doing at the time would fit very well into his healing routines, so I put together an album with frequency soundscapes at the core of it all. But, it wasn’t until 2000 that I was able to take it to the next level, and create what many of you are familiar with, “Taos Winds Chakra.” I bought a Korg Triton Pro Workstation to have as the center of my studio, a very cutting-edge synth at the time, and I do still use it to this day. It took my sound and frequency work to the next level. I released the album Chakra anywhere I could at the time, and it did well. But, in 2010, I was walking by my CD rack one evening, and Taos Winds Chakra jumped out at me. I pulled it from the rack and popped it into the CD player. Within minutes my thoughts went to YouTube. I had a channel already, had it since 2006 at the very beginning of YouTube, but never really did anything with it, just random projects… As I listened to the original Chakra album, I knew I had to share it with a larger audience. I immediately set out to create visuals for each Chakra soundscape/music. I dug deep into my toolbox, and created the first series of moving Chakra colored cloudscapes using fractals in Adobe After Effects. Synced the soundscapes and cloudscapes, and let them fly out into the world… It worked, that album is at the very foundation of Taos Winds Spirit Music. Years later, 1001 videos later (as of this video), I return to the foundation, but, with the 2026 version, “Taos Winds Chakra 2026.” The future in which we have arrived… It is all new music/soundscapes and visuals, no reproduction of the original in any way, it is Chakra 2026. I do return to the roots of its unique sounds though, The Korg Triton. I still use the Triton on a fairly regular basis, but with this project, I have decided to honor the original album, I will use only the Triton sounds, as it was with Chakra 2000.
