Pausing before a cutscene starts allows you to walk during cutscenes.
In this case, you could go to the Needle before doing the Wolf fight. Story will progress as usual and Wolf fight doesn't need to be done.

Got this while testing Alexstrasza Warrior on stream, seems to be way faster than my other attempts which rarely goes below 2.5 minutes. Very little animation occurring throughout enemys turns.

7 minutes timeloss on a quick Tracker death, and all 4 runs are slow. Epic lethal on the Final Challenge though.
Done as a race with Reelox, Scrublord and SirThird. Scrublord wins the race since he spent less time resetting on Time-Tinker. (This video doesnt show my failed Time-Tinker attempts)
