SPOILER WARNING - This video contains all major story elements to Celestes chapter 9 "Farewell"

I apologize for how long this video took to come out,. Honestly, I wasn't sure if I was going to make it or not, but after completing the story I knew I had to do it. But thank you to everyone who supported this series and this game, it really means a lot to me.

Celeste chapter 9, Farwell is a simple story, but that simplicity doesn’t take away from the complexity of Madeline's struggle with anxiety and depression. In this final chapter, we once again follow Madeline a few years after the event of climbing the mountain. Granny, her long-time pen pal had just passed away and Madeline is dealing with her guilt of not going to her funeral because she had a mental breakdown after finding out. Chapter 9 is heavily based on the Kübler-Ross model of the stages of grief; denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Which this chapter does a very good job of displaying each of these signs with the use of its dialogue and stage design.
