So, after that uh, SHORT break to do a deep-dive of Spelunky 2 and also University work, I started doing more practice for Core stages. 8A is obviously the first target, and the worst part is definitely that double-ring of fireballs. Thanks to someone on the game's subreddit linking a tweet video, the method for zipping past it reliably meant skipping a good minute of retreads all the dang time, and the rest of the stage is cycle-based tomfoolery. And not like the Resort cycles, GOD no - these ones are EASY compared to that shenaniganery!
Though I'll admit, after 5A's Maze Times, 6A's Boss Times and 7A's Final Exam Marathon Times, 8A felt rather... There. Like I'm probably gonna get my arse kicked by 8B, but as it stands, 8A was relatively simple!
(forgot to mention, you might see some weird frame stuff midway through the video - I think OBS is having trouble handling the video footage, so I might hafta look into other options for game-screen recording)
