Cedar Point's opening weekend brought an insane crowd out to the park. Due to nice weather, gold pass sales and just the fact of it being opening weekend all had a role in these crowds. Although it was expected to be busy, it was still a rough opening with long lines, lack of staff and people getting ill from undercooked food. However, I think the park did well for their first weekend of the season.
