A quick look at a 70w Philips CDM-R111 halide lamp.
Quite a nice lamp with good colour rendering and a nice 3000k colour temperature. They are also available in 4000k colour and in 20w and 35w versions. There are also several beam angles.
I really like these lamps due to the fact that the light source is not visible directly so all of the light emitted by the arc tube Is controlled and directed by the two reflectors. This creates a very bright and focussed beam with quite a sharp cutoff and no glare at all unless one stares directly into the beam.
The ideal light source for shop and display lighting.
