The Canadian Chinese Youth Athletics Association in collaboration with Brita Canada and the Toronto Raptors recently celebrated Chinese New Year in January 2014 at the Air Canada Centre when they hosted the Orlando Magic.
CCYAA, Brita and the Raptors continued to display their tireless work in the community by taking a different approach to the festivities this year: following the stories of a few young rising basketball stars whom are new to Canada, starting from their school team game all the way to their exclusive access to the on-court warm-up and locker room at the Raptors game! This was a first time experience for these students.
Come follow along with the excitement of the journey CCYAA awarded these bright-eyed ballers, as they meet their heroes and witness them play live in person for the first time; an experience they've only fantasized of until this day.
