In October, 2012, Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) published "A White Paper on Energy use in Alaska's Public Facilities". This report is the first in-depth look at energy use in publicly owned buildings in the state of Alaska.

AHFC has a $250 million loan program that can be invested in energy retrofits for publicly owned buildings.
