"Have You Ever Seen the Rain?" is a song written by John Fogerty and released in 1970 on the album Pendulum of American rock group Creedence Clearwater Revival.
It has been speculated that the song's lyrics may refer to the Vietnam War, with 'rain' a metaphor for bombs falling from skies.
John Fogerty released a live version of the song on the DVD The Long Road Home - In Concert was recorded at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, California on September 15, 2005
