Launch old versions on Steam
In your game library with the game selected, click the gear on the right side (or right click on the game in your games list) and select "properties"
In the "General" tab under the "launch options" section
Use the launcher option -runver 1.2 for KW or -runver 1.12 for RA3
If using multiple options just add a space between them
