Two words: Lou Dorfsman.
Three movie opens in one. This movie, "Network", was a big deal when it aired on broadcast television for the first time -- a "World Premiere" for TV and CBS.
They went all out on the movie opens here, using everything in their arsenal with well-cut teases for the movie in between. Not the best quality, but this is good stuff, and it's all Lou Dorfsman of course (who was a friend as well as graphics and promotion dictator of CBS for decades).
The first open was always my favorite, with that great Mort Stevens music they used for a decade in one form or another. I've restored this as best I could, because CBS was a different look and feel from NBC and ABC. CBS had this long term consistency with their good stuff, and NBC and ABC were more short sighted each year with fall campaigns and new on-air images/packages.
