Dr. Beth Wiese is the Research and Overdose Prevention Coordinator for The Sidewalk Project, a non-profit organization that aids unhoused, drug-using, survivor & sex worker populations by providing direct services including crisis response, system advocacy, wound care, job placement, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and creative community resources for mental health. Her work aims to influence future drug policy with novel evidence-based research that also advocates and empowers people who use drugs to feel safe and prevent fatal overdose. #shorts #cbd #naloxone
