Citizen Band Loft Antenna, A Home-brew Wire antenna for 11 Meters. I just had to try this out, can you build a CB antenna in your loft that really works, well the answer is YES.

What you will need:

5 X 102 inches or 2590mm of wire ( household wire will do).
a short bit of pipe ( if your loft is not tall enough for a Full 1/4 wave.
Strip connector and coax with a SO239 or PL259
